Phillip Allen will personally lead this tour to the Bavarian and Swiss Alps.  Phillip is a Certified Swiss Specialist and has led groups to the Passion Play in Oberammergau Germany in prior years.

Following is the tentative itinerary for ten nights in these beautiful countries (including one night in Austria).

Day 1   Depart Asheville NC (or your nearest gateway)
Day 2   Arrive Munich Germany; overnight in Munich   
Day 3   Motorcoach to Oberammergau; visit   Neuschwanstein Castle en route
Day 4   Passion Play; overnight in Oberammergau
Day 5   Motorcoach to Innsbruck, Austria for the night
Day 6   Train to St Moritz Switzerland
Day 7   Glacier Express from St. Moritz to Zermatt
Day 8   Train to Lucerne for a four night stay
Day 9   Free day or day trip to Mt Pilatus
Day 10 Visit Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen Valley
Day 11 Free day or day trip to Interlaken and Lake Brienz
Day 12 Free morning; afternoon train to Zurich; depart Zurich for USA

Total cost of $2990 per person includes:
  • ten nights in first class hotels with breakfast
  • Passion Play ticket and program guide
  • air conditioned motorcoach transfers and touring
  • first class rail pass for all train travel (6 days)
  • admission to Neuschwanstein Castle
  • admission to Oberammergau museum
  • two dinners - welcome and farewell
  • all taxes and gratuities
Air fare is not included in above price.
